Ideas for surviving Disneyland in the rain are coming from first-hand experiences. My last four trips to Disneyland have been some wet ones. I don’t know about my luck with these trips, however, it has taught me a lot about what to bring and what to do. Today, I would like to share some ideas on what to do at the Disneyland Resort when it is raining.

While being at Disneyland during the rain is not an ideal way to see the Disneyland Resort, however, if you are prepared, and go with a good frame of mind (In addition to knowing what to do.) You can make the most out of your visit!
While inside of Disneyland:

Visit the Main Street Opera House/Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln
First on the list of ideas for surviving Disneyland in the rain is to visit the Main Street Opera House Featuring Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln. This is a great place to hang out inside for a while. In the preshow area, Disneyland has items on display that change all the time. From art drawings and costumes and props from the latest Mary Poppins movie to a scaled model of Disneyland on opening day.
They also have the Disneyland 50th anniversary show with Steve Martin playing. And much much more.
In the next room, there is a model of the United States Capitol Building and a pre-show video about Mr.Lincoln. Which all leads up to the 16-minute show in the theatre.
Check out the Main Street Cinemas
Second, on the list of ideas for surviving Disneyland in the rain is to check out the Main Street Cinemas. Heading towards the castle on the right is the Main Street Cinemas. Inside there are multiple screens playing some of the first Mickey Mouse cartoons. This is a fun way to pass the time indoors and see Mickey in his first acting roles!
