Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland was something that I wanted to do, being that I had never been there before. It was a fun and interesting experience. This dining location is situated between Frontierland and New Orleans Square. Right along the Rivers of America!

This dining location is considered to be in Frontierland, however, it is right on the edge of Frontierland and New Orleans Square. It has great views of the Rivers of America. Reservations

Next on the list for Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is to make Reservations. This can be done 60 days before your trip. Disney offers same-day reservations, but it is limited and may be difficult to get depending on how busy they are.

During our trip, I have to admit, it was a last-minute decision to dine here. As a result, I wasn’t sure that we would be able to get reservations. Surprisingly, we were able to get in!

If this is a dining location that you are wanting to eat at, I wouldn’t leave it to chance. Make sure to make reservations 60 days before your trip.

Theme

Another thing about Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the theme. The decoration style is reminiscent of a southern plantation. The details in the iron are amazing.

The glass inside has a steamboat etched in it. This dining location has a southern feel that gears you up for some very tasty food.

We ended up eating outside, due to a very unruly child that was literally screaming nonstop, (not an exaggeration and we were not alone out there), but it ended up being a wonderful thing! It was so nice to sit out on the patio and see the boats sail by while we ate.

I do hope to have the opportunity to eat indoors next time so that I can have that experience as well. There are so many windows that are all around the room that it brings in a lot of light.

Appetizer

First for the food portion of Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the Appetizer. We decided to try the Creamy Pimento Cheese Dip. It came with toasted bread, which was more like a specialty-shaped pretzel bread and celery. It was very good and we would get it again.

Next on Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the Entree. So for this dining experience, my Mom, brother, and I all ended up getting the same meal! The Beef Short Ribs. It is boneless ribs that are herb-crusted and slow-cooked. This meal comes with a house sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. We all enjoyed this meal. It was so tender and moist.

There were two desserts that we tried. Although, I do not know if they still have these two. It is not on the online menu, however, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they don’t have it. A lot of times, not all the meals or offerings are listed.

First was a Salted Caramel Parfait. This parfait was good. Nothing fancy, but it was tasty. And that is what counts, right?

Next, we had Monkey Bread. This dessert was a  cross between pull-apart bread and bread pudding. It had the bread and a sauce poured over it. This dessert was delicious. I would definitely order this again.
