Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland was something that I wanted to do, being that I had never been there before. It was a fun and interesting experience. This dining location is situated between Frontierland and New Orleans Square. Right along the Rivers of America!
Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland
Whether you dine inside with the steamboat decorations or outside on the patio with views of the Rivers of America, River Belle Terrace is a great experience. Not to mention the delicious food!
First on the list of Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the location. This dining location is considered to be in Frontierland, however, it is right on the edge of Frontierland and New Orleans Square. It has great views of the Rivers of America. Keep an eye out for the Mark Twain Riverboat or the Sailing Ship Columbia to pass by.
The backside of River Belle Terrace is in Adventureland.
Next on the list for Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is to make Reservations. This can be done 60 days prior to your trip. Disney offers same-day reservations, but it is limited and may be difficult to get depending on how busy they are.
During our trip, I have to admit, it was a last-minute decision to dine here. As a result, I wasn’t sure that we would be able to get reservations. Surprisingly, we were able to get in!
If this is a dining location that you are really wanting to eat at, I wouldn’t leave it to chance. Make sure to make reservations the 60 days prior to your trip.
Another thing on Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the theme. The decoration style is reminiscent of a southern plantation. The details in the iron are amazing.
The glass inside has a steamboat etched in it. This dining location has a southern feel that gears you up for some very tasty food.
We ended up eating outside, due to a very unruly child that was literally screaming nonstop, (not an exaggeration and we were not alone out there), but it ended up being a wonderful thing! It was so nice to sit out on the patio and see the boats sail by while we ate.
I do hope to have the opportunity to eat indoors next time so that I can have that experience as well. There are so many windows that are all around the room that it brings in a lot of light.
Next on the list for Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the food! Let the drool begin!
River Belle Terrace’s price range is anywhere from $15 to $35 per adult.
First for the food portion of Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the Appetizer. We decided to try the Creamy Pimento Cheese Dip. It came with toasted bread, which was more like a specialty shaped pretzel bread and celery. It was very good and we would get it again.
Next on Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the Entree. So for this dining experience, my Mom, brother, and I all ended up getting the same meal! The Beef Short Ribs. It is boneless ribs that are herb-crusted and slow-cooked. This meal comes with a house sauce, mashed potatoes, and vegetables. We all enjoyed this meal. It was so tender and moist.
Next for Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the dessert! One of the best parts of the meal is dessert! Especially when you are at Disneyland. They always make the best desserts!
There were two desserts that we tried. Although, I do not know if they still have these two. It is not on the online menu, however, that doesn’t necessarily mean that they don’t have it. A lot of times, not all the meals or offerings are listed.
First was a Salted Caramel Parfait. This parfait was good. Nothing fancy, but it was tasty. And that is what counts, right?
Next, we had Monkey Bread. This dessert was a cross between pull-apart bread and bread pudding. It had the bread and a sauce poured over it. This dessert was delicious. I would definitely order this again.
Fantasmic Dining Package
Finally on the list of Discovering River Belle Terrace in Disneyland is the Fantasmic Dining Packages. The first package includes a 3-course meal for lunch or dinner and vouchers for a viewing area for Fantasmic. This package is $45 per adult and $25 per child.
The next package is a 3-course meal as well as a table on the patio with a view of the Fantasmic’s first showing of the night. This way you can have a chair to sit on to watch the show, while you are eating your food. How cool is that! This package is $70 per adult and $40 per child.
