FastPass at the Disneyland Resort is a way to save time waiting in line. As long as you have a FastPass… It is available only on certain attractions at the Disneyland Resort. Therefore, today I thought I would share which attractions have this option in case you would like to use the FastPass feature during your next trip. Join me for today’s post-Disneyland Resort FastPass Attractions.

Disneyland Resort FastPass Attractions

FastPass at Disneyland started in 1999. At the time, it was a way to save your place in line while you explore other parts of Disneyland. For example, shops, foods, and other attractions. Then you could return to the FastPass attractions at a specific time and get on the ride with a very short wait.

However, with the popularity of the FastPass and now MaxPass (paying to get a FastPass via the Disneyland App on your phone), the wait in the fast line is not as fast as it used to be. Another thing I have noticed is that on the attractions where FastPass is offered, it has increased the standby line wait times exponentially. This is a fact that was well found out when the FastPass system recently went down and all those FastPass attractions went to a “walk-on” time frame.

How much time does FastPass save?

Well, It can save you a lot of wait time as long as you have the pass. If you are in the standby line, it could take a while to get onto an attraction. However, keep in mind that MOST of the Disneyland attractions are high-capacity attractions. Therefore, this means it can have a lot of people ride per hour. Which means that the lines usually move pretty quickly. So don’t think that all hope is lost!

FastPass vs MaxPass

There are a couple of differences between the two pass options that the Disneyland Resort offers. First of all, FastPass is free. However, MaxPass costs $20 per ticket per day.

Second, in order to get a FastPass, you will have to go to one of the FastPass attractions you are wanting to get a pass from. The machines are close to the entrance of the attractions. (With a few exceptions). However, with MaxPass, you can reserve a FastPass via the Disneyland App from anywhere inside of the park! This could save a lot of walking. In addition to reserving from the App, you can also reserve FastPasses for your entire group. (As long as they have the MaxPass on their tickets as well.)

FastPass Attractions

Next, these FastPass Attractions are subject to change. Disneyland states on its website to check availability before purchasing a MaxPass as no refunds will be given. Therefore, make sure to check Disneyland’s terms and conditions regarding FastPass.
