Discover Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is what I would like to share with you today. Disneyland has so many treats and foods for you to enjoy when you are at the Disneyland Resort. Clarabelle’s in California Adventure is one of the best places to get ice cream!
Discover Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream
The first time that I had ice cream at Clarabelle’s, was in 2015 when my friend, her daughter and I went to Disneyland. I ordered the kitchen sink. It comes in a kitchen sink! The following year, I went to Disneyland with my Mom and brother. I shared with my Mom the joys of the kitchen sink. As a result of watching mrcheesypop on YouTube, Mom and I planned on visiting Clarabelle’s for hand-scooped ice cream bars.
Oh yes. It happened folks!
First of all, let’s start with the location. Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is in California Adventure. Once you go down Buena Vista Street, take a right. It is almost at the end of the building. In between the candy store and Fiddler, Fifer, and Practical Café. (AKA Starbucks.)
In fact, the candy store, Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream and Starbucks are all connected on the inside.
Next, is what does Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream offer? Where to begin???
Hand Dipped Ice Cream
First is Clarabelle’s hand-dipped ice cream. If you decide you would like this option, there are three steps or decisions that you have to make.
- Choose your ice cream flavor. Vanilla Bean, milk chocolate, or mixed berry sorbet.
- Choose your chocolate. Milk or Dark.
- Choose your topping. Chocolate chips, sprinkles, pearls, Mickey confetti, blue raspberry bursts, or the whole herd, (Which is all of the toppings.)
The price for the hand dipped ice cream is $5.69.
Next, on the list of offerings at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is Triple Scooped Sundaes. These sundaes are served in kitchen sinks! Not real ones, Mickey and Minnie Mouse kitchen sinks.
They are souvenir kitchen sinks you can take home. They are so fun!
Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream has five different kitchen sink sundaes to choose from.
- Mint Chocolate Chip
- Chocolate Chip Cookie and Hot Fudge
- Mocha Almond Fudge
- The Oswald (It has two long ears made from chocolate dipped frozen bananas.)
The price of the Mickey Mouse kitchen sink sundaes is $13.49. The Minnie Mouse ones are seasonal and run $14.99.
Next, at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is Sundaes. Minus the kitchen sink. So if you are not wanting the souvenir sink, or you don’t want to pay that price for a sundae, (I don’t blame you) then you can go with this option. It is still the sundae’s just no kitchen sink.
The price for the sundaes depends on the kind you get.
- The Oswald–$7.49
Vanilla and chocolate ice cream served in a waffle cup with hot fudge, chocolate chips, whipped cream, cherries, and chocolate-dipped frozen bananas.

Hand-Scooped Ice Cream
Another item that Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream offers is hand-scooped ice cream. You can get it in a cup, sugar cone, waffle cone, or a dipped waffle cone.
One or two scoops. Prices vary depending on your choices.
The price range is $4.79 -$6.99.
The final offering at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is drinks. They have a drink called Mangonada. This drink is two scoops of mango sorbet with fresh mango chunks, chili-lime seasoning, chamoy sauce (a Mexican condiment made from pickled fruit), and lime juice. The price is $7.99.
Next is an ice cream float. This has vanilla ice cream and then your choice of either root beer, coca cola, or orange soda. The price of the float is $5.49.

The next thing to discover at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is the theme. While this shop is not huge, it does have it’s own theming going on.
For example the lights. They look like stained glass ice cream cones.
During the holiday season, the garland has ice cream cones on it.
From the outside, the sign is in neon and it has stained glass windows up above. It is so cool!
Pun intended. 😉
Finally on the list of what to discover at Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is the seating. While Clarabelle’s doesn’t exactly have its own seating, it is shared with the Fiddler, Fifer and Practical Café that is right next door. In fact, if the weather is nice, there are tables and chairs right outside of Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream.
With all of the food and treat options at the Disneyland Resort, it can be difficult to choose what and where to go. I hope that today’s post helps you to decide where to go on your next visit to the park. Clarabelle’s Hand-Scooped Ice Cream is a tasty place to go to get your ice cream on!
