Secrets about Disneyland bathrooms. This is a subject that most people probably do not talk about. You may be wondering what is there to talk about? They’re bathrooms. Other than location, what is to know?
Well…
I am here to talk about the theming of the bathrooms.
Yes, the bathrooms are themed here too! Bathrooms around the Disneyland Resort are not just out of necessity, but, they are an experience in of themselves!
Secrets About Disneyland Bathrooms
Disneyland Hotel Bathroom
First on the list of Secrets of Disneyland Bathrooms, is at the Disneyland Hotel. In the main tower, on the main floor, just to the right of the Fantasia store is a restroom. It is a smaller one. However, as you enter the hallway area on the way, they have big framed posters of places in Disneyland. They are the same style as the ones that line the tunnels as you enter Disneyland.
Once you are inside of these bathrooms, you will see that the wallpaper is a collage of miniatures of these posters! I think it is so cool! I wouldn’t mind my bathroom at home being lined with this wallpaper.

Disneyland-Sleeping Beauty’s Castle
The next themed bathroom on the list of secrets of Disneyland bathrooms that I would like to mention is the one that is inside of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. When you are looking at the castle, you take the road to the right that goes toward Matterhorn Mountain. Follow it towards the left so that you are still next to the castle. The restrooms are on your left. As you walk up to the door of the woman’s, they have a picture of the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland. The men’s room has the King of Hearts.
Once inside…
This is definitely one to go check out. Even if you do not have to go!
The doors to the stalls are the face of playing cards. I was totally geeking out the first time I saw this restroom.
The light fixtures have hearts all around it. The tiles that line the walls are all hearts as well.
I have to say this one is my absolute favorite bathroom in the park! (It doesn’t hurt that Alice in Wonderland is one of my top three favorite animated movies.)
California Adventure-Bug’s Land (Now Extinct)
The next bathroom I want to talk about is in California Adventure. It is in Bugs Land. This land is designed from a bug’s point of view. It is really amazing!
The bathroom here, when you look at it from the outside, looks like a giant tissue box that is on its side. Once inside, you hear crickets chirping and other insects buzzing. Sometimes, some of the Bug’s Life characters will chime in and talk to you. Imagineers are so creative!
Disneyland-Blue Bayou
Another on the list of secrets about Disneyland bathrooms, in Disneyland that I like to visit, is inside of the Blue Bayou Restaurant. They are designed to be old Victorian/New Orleans style. The door has a woman in a long fancy gown. The faucets and handles are gold. (It’s not real gold. Just looks like it.) The doors and woodwork in there are dark cherry wood. It is so elegant.
Interested in finding out more about Blue Bayou Restaurant? Here is a recent article I did on this dining location.
In Conclusion
These are just a few of the bathroom themes around the Disneyland Resort. There are so many more! Make sure to visit as many as you can when you are there! They are their own experience.
