Today I would like to talk about Harbour Galley, (a restaurant that is on my Tips for Dining in Disneyland on a Budget list) and tell you about a secret path.
Dining Tips at Harbour Galley in Disneyland
First, the restaurant is called the Harbour Galley. The cost of the meals here is $14.99 or less per adult, which makes it one of the more affordable dining locations in Disneyland.
Do you like seafood, soup in bread bowls, or to check out secret pathways?
Next, the Harbour Galley is a quick-service location. If you are looking for a place to get a quick bite to eat, then this is a spot to go. In addition to the price and the speed, if you like seafood this is the place to go!
Location
Next on the for Dining Tips at Harbour Galley is the location. Just as you pass by Haunted Mansion on your way to Critter Country, Harbour Galley is on the right. It is beside the water just as you enter Critter Country and the building looks like an old fishing/boathouse.
Food Options
First on the list of food options here are cheddar broccoli soup, clam chowder, and a seasonal soup. They are all served in a sourdough bread bowl. In addition to the soups, they also have a tuna salad sandwich.
Next are the salads. Some of the choices are a lobster roll salad, a fisherman’s salad, and a shrimp salad. The lobster roll is a chilled lobster salad on a toasted buttered roll.
Personally, I go for the cheddar broccoli soup. It is my favorite soup!
Finally, for any kids in your party, this location offers a kid’s power pack. Included in the pack are a smoothie drink, apple slices, banana, fish crackers (whole grain), and a choice of milk or water for $5.99 (prices subject to change).
As with most of the dining locations in Disneyland, they have an allergy-friendly menu that is available upon request.
Drink Options
Next, are the drink options. If you are interested in specialty drinks that are offered around the resort, Harbour Galley has a couple of options for you. The first one is called Jolly Rodger tea. It is a tropical fruit tea (pineapple, orange, and mango). The second drink is called Gold Port Galley Lemonade. This drink is a frozen lemonade that is flavored with passion fruit and topped with mango and pineapple sugar. Both of these sound delicious!
After you pick up your food, you can take it to one of the tables that are over by the water. It is a nice quiet spot to sit.
Secret Path
Finally on the list of Dining Tips at Harbour Galley is the secret path. When you are all finished (or even if you are not eating) if you follow the building past the seating area, there is a walkway here. Not a lot of people know about it. Or they just don’t use it. It takes you by the water and back towards the front of Splash Mountain.
I enjoy taking this little short path. It gives you some different scenic views of the area.
You could also start out in front of Splash Mountain and go through the path in that direction. However, sometimes it is hard to spot it until you know where it is at.
Harbour Galley doesn’t have a huge menu, however, if you like seafood and a quick meal, then it is a great place to stop.
Don’t forget to try out that secret path too!
