With everything that there is to do at the Disneyland Resort, time can be an issue! Disneyland tries to help out by offering Dining Packages that holds a spot for you at one of their many nighttime shows, parades, and even some daytime parades and shows. Today I would like to help you know what Disneyland Dining Packages are offered and other tips to know before your visit.

Disneyland Dining Packages

Disneyland Dining Packages are a great way to get a voucher for a spot to view some of the shows and parades around Disneyland Park. Instead of trying to get a FastPass first thing in the morning or arriving hours prior to the show or parade and holding a spot for your party, purchasing a Disneyland Dining Package will save you that time.

Disneyland Dining Packages

What are Dining Packages?

First of all, Dining Packages at the Disneyland Resort is a meal that you purchase that includes a voucher (pass) to gain access to a specific viewing spot for a show or parade. Most of the meals are a 3-course meal. However, Disneyland also offers a meal on the go if you don’t want to be dining in the restaurant.

For example, if you were to purchase a Fantasmic Dining Package and choose the Blue Bayou Restaurant, you would be able to eat inside the restaurant. It is a 3-course meal. Then afterward you would receive your passes to Fantasmic to have a place to see the show later that evening by the Rivers of America.

That is just one example. More on package offerings below.

What shows/parades offer Dining Packages?

Next, let’s see what shows or parades have a Disneyland Dining Package. As of January 2020, there is only one option.

Reservations

Since the Disneyland Dining Packages are extremely popular and there is limited space for the viewing area, therefore, you will need to make a reservation ahead of time. You can make reservations online or by calling the Disney dining number at (714) 781-DINE (3463) between 7 AM and 7 PM.

Another thing you will want to keep in mind regarding your reservations is that depending on what time you reserve your meal, it will determine what show time or parade time your voucher will be good for. Make sure you ask and write it down!

Know before you reserve

Finally, there are some things you will want to know before you make these reservations.

First, is to be aware that if the show or parade is canceled for any reason (weather, technical difficulties, etc.), No refunds will be given.

Second, the reserved viewing areas are separate from the restaurant areas. Therefore, this means you won’t be eating and watching the show at the restaurant you are getting your meal from. The only option for eating and watching Fantasmic! is the River Belle Terrace Premium Package.

Third, you must have a separate theme park entrance ticket in addition to these Disneyland Dining Packages, as a result of the packages not including park admission.

Finally, you will need to make reservations ahead of time in order to make sure you will be able to get one of these Disneyland Dining Packages. Reservations can be made starting 60 days prior to your trip.

If you are interested in the California Adventure Dining Packages, you can find it here.

In Conclusion

Disneyland Dining Packages can be a great way to save time during your Disneyland vacation. Be sure to check out all the options and times before your next trip. Also, don’t forget to make reservations ahead of time!
